🎃
okay y’all so yall know how much i love halloween. it probably has a lot to do with the fact that i wasn’t allowed to celebrate it growing up, but now that i can, i go all in. this year i decided to make my own halloween advent calendar and it was so much fun.
i’m not even gonna lie though, it was kinda hard to keep up with every single day. i ended up doubling up a few activities just so i could finish everything and still have time to give y’all a proper review. but overall it was such a vibe.
now i’m already thinking about next year because i definitely want to redo it and maybe rearrange some of the activities so it’s more balanced. some days were super quick and easy and others took forever, so i wanna spread that out better.
oh and i thought about doing a thanksgiving advent calendar too but i’m not sure yet. it really depends on how my schedule’s looking. but if i do it, y’all will be the first to know.
so halloween night itself ended up being super quiet. like… too quiet. not a single trick or treater came by. i had my little spooky cookies all ready (store bought, of course, because apparently giving homemade stuff to strangers is weird now) and my costume laid out, and then… nothing. just me and the snacks.
i’m guessing everybody went over to the “king size” neighborhoods. earlier in the day i had to run an errand and spent about two hours downtown, and i saw so many adults dressed up or with their cars all decked out in spooky decor. so i just assumed the halloween spirit was strong this year.
oh well. it still ended up being a chill night. and for the record, those cookies were delicious. anyways, heres a pic of the cookies and me in my costume.
